Allen Iverson eligible for 2016 Hall of Fame class

11x All-Star and 1x MVP Allen Iverson is eligible. Iverson averaged 31.1ppg in 2001 when he won MVP. He then put up 32.9ppg in the playoffs. Those same playoffs is where he hit his iconic shot over Tyronn Lue and then stepped over him in overtime. He put up 48 points that game. Unfortunately, Iverson went his entire career without ever winning a ring. His career usage rate (31.83) puts him in the Top 5. LeBron James gave him his vote of confidence saying, “pound-for-pound, probably the greatest player who ever played. He was one of the greatest finishers we’ve ever seen. You could never question his heart. He gave it his all. A.I. was like my second favorite player growing up, after Jordan.” Allen Iverson has my vote for the Hall of Fame. What about you? Do you think he should get in? Do you think he should be a first ballot Hall of Famer?
