My Minnesota Timberwolves NBA Ranking + Trending Upwards/Downwards/Neutral for Upcoming Season

The Minnesota Timberwolves finished with the worst record in the Western Conference. They are far off from playoff contention. They finished with a 16-66 record, .195% win percentage. They drafted Karl Anthony-Towns first overall from Kentucky. Veterans Gary Neal and Chase Budinger are now gone off the team, leaving young guys to get more playing time. I would not be shocked if the Timberwolves were to trade veterans Kevin Martin and Nikola Pekovic sometime this season. Maybe they would even trade Ricky Rubio if the asking price is right. I think all three of those guys will be traded this upcoming season. The Timberwolves have young and exciting Andrew Wiggins and Zach LaVine that are the most well known Timberwolves players. Other young and talented players the Timberwolves have are Gorgui Dieng, Tyus Jones, Shabazz Muhammad, and Adreian Payne. This is one of those young and exciting teams that you know will not be good next season but they will at least be exciting to watch. I give them the trending status of neutral for next season. They will yet again be the worse team of next season. I have them ranked #28 coming into the new NBA season.
