With Kirk Hinrich being traded once again to the Atlanta Hawks at 35 years old, one can assume that that is the last time Kirk Hinrich will ever play in a Bulls jersey again. When you think of the Chicago Bulls you automatically think of Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Phil Jackson (etc.). Another underrated name that should come up is Kirk Hinrich.

Today is February 11, 2016 and tomorrow signifies the start of the All-Star Break. That also marks the middle of the NBA season. So with that said, usually mid-season awards are given out. I have decided to give my own opinion on the mid-season awards for categories like; MVP, Rookie of the Year, Coach of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, and Most Improved Player. Let’s debate! I am going to put this on record. I am a Chicago Bulls fan first and a NBA fan second. I decided to write this article as I watch this season unfold as my Chicago Bulls currently sit 7th in the Eastern Conference as they are dangerously close to falling out of the playoffs all together.
